Dave is an amazing bus driver & seems to be able to negotiate tight spaces & narrow roadways in such a big bus. Was rewarded at the end of the trip with Mum's homemade biscuits.   • Well, what fantastic charter this was we were looked after like king and queens by Kim and David and their little grandson Kody they took us to Tasmania so full of knowledge our gorgeous Kim was and David sure knew how to drive his coach and little Kody so friendly and always there to offer us water or help at drop of a hat.   • Hi Kim and David (and Kody, of course) When Judy joined me in retirement we had already decided that we weren't going to sit in front of a television with cans of cheap lager all day.  No we wanted to travel, to see countries, their cities and their people, their customs, foods, cultures and compare them with our own. We had already travelled in the U.S and Canada, cruised down the east coast of South America (including 1000 miles up the Amazon to Manaus). Anyway, we've been to many and different countries over the past 25 years and experienced coach and bus tours of varying lengths of time and distance both at home and abroad.
    We are both sure that our 8 day trip with EP Bus Charters was the best so far.  The attention to quality in everything, customer topping the list , resulted in an interesting comfortable and exceptionally well organised tour. This resulted in a happy load of customers and combined with an excellent itinerary and your own well developed skills made us feel welcome and cared for at all times. Never have we enjoyed a tour so much, anywhere!  So, thats' about it. We would enthusiastically recommend EP Bus Charters as an example of how to run bus tours properly. This is the only trip I've been on where I haven't constantly had my purse open, as nearly everything has been included in the tour price, which is very rare. ITINERARY

Night 1 Coober Pedy

Wednesday 25th August
Welcome aboard, sit back and relax as we make our way to Coober Pedy today. We will pick up along the way and enjoy a morning cuppa and home baked goods this morning in Cowell. Adelaide guests will join us in Pt Augusta. We will enjoy a picnic lunch along the way. Arriving into Coober Pedy around 5.00pm we will check into the Hotel with time to freshen up before a 6.30pm dinner in the restaurant.

Night 2,3,4 Alice Springs – Simpson’s Gap, Standley Chasm, Ormiston Gorge, Anzac Hill, RFDS

Thursday 26th August
Breakfast this morning in the Crystal Café. A morning tea and rest stop at Marla
before continuing onto Kulgera Hotel/Roadhouse the first and last pub in the Territory. Here we will break for lunch which you can purchase. Another 2 hrs travel then a rest stop at Stuarts Well Roadhouse perhaps an ice-cream? It’s always nice to support these roadhouses even in a small way, especially as they are kind enough to allow us to use their restrooms. One more hour and into the Alice to check into Lasseter’s Crowne Plaza for the next 3 nights. Dinner in the lovely Tali Restaurant at 6.30pm, follow the signs. There is a fabulous resort pool area, and Casino. The rooms are lovely, and we shall all enjoy our stay here.

Friday 27th August
This morning enjoy breakfast in Tali Restaurant at 8.30am then 9.30am board the coach for a trip up to Anzac Hill Lookout then onto the RFDS for a tour and lunch meet back at the coach at a predetermined time 1.30pm then back to the Crowne Plaza for an afternoon of rest or perhaps meet up with a friend or family who reside in the Alice, before meeting up for dinner in Tali restaurant at 6.30pm.

Saturday 28th August
8am breakfast in Tali restaurant this morning before boarding the coach at 9.00am for our trip out to Ormiston Gorge – wear your walking shoes and pack your bathers and pool towel from your room, as there is a permanent waterhole ideal for a swim. The Waterhole is a 5-minute flat walk. On our way we shall also visit Simpsons gap for a great photo opportunity. Then Standley Chasm for a morning cuppa which we shall make you. We shall cook you a BBQ lunch at Ormiston Gorge. We return to our Hotel in the afternoon with time to have a rest and pack our bag ready for our morning’s departure.6.30pm dinner in Tali Restaurant

Night 5,6,7 Yulara (Ayers Rock Resort fabulous!) featuring Ayers Rock, Field of Lights, Sounds of Silence Dinner Party, Khata Tjuta (Olgas)

Sunday 29th August
Please put your suitcase outside of your door by 7.00am, the porters will pick them up. We depart for Uluru with a stop at Kings Station for Morning Tea. Then have a picnic lunch along the way also. Upon arrival at Yulara Resort we shall check in then meet up for Dinner in the Restaurant at 6pm. Tonight is a special event the Wondrous Field of Light. Walking shoes tonight please as we wander the Wonderland.

Monday 30th August
We enjoy our breakfast at leisure in the Restaurant. Today is free to relax or enjoy one of the many free activities at Yulara perhaps the free shuttle bus to the Camel Farm or a dot painting lesson or a flight over the Rock or maybe relax by the pool and wander the Town square for a great souvenir opportunity, a coffee and lunch at one of the lovely cafes. This evening is also at leisure with dinner at Gheckos café or one of the lovely Restaurants – it’s your choice.

Tuesday 31st August
After Breakfast we shall depart for Uluru (Ayers Rock) and do a base drive and a walk at 2 locations, we shall also make you a cuppa whilst we marvel at this incredible Wonder. Then some more exploring at the Olgas before making our way back to the resort for a free afternoon with plenty you can do – perhaps a guided garden walk? Don’t forget to pack your bags as we depart Yulara in the morning.

Tonight, a most special and memorable event! The Sounds of Silence Dinner Party – Silver service sunset drinks, canapés followed by a 4-course candlelit dinner then a Star constellation talk, this takes place in the desert with a backdrop of Ayers Rock (Uluru) on one side and The Olgas (Khata Tjuta) on the other, this is so special, and we dress up (smart casual), but still wear appropriate footwear for the desert. A Very special event!

Night 8 Coober Pedy

Wednesday 1st September
This morning we farewell Uluru with special memories. Depart at 7am for Curtin Springs 1,000,000-acre Station where we will enjoy a hearty breakfast then a Rest stop at Erldunda roadhouse then Kulgera for lunch – own cost and a rest stop at Marla roadhouse, then onto our overnight stop at the Underground Coober Pedy  – Dinner at 6.30pm in the dining room.

Night 9 Whyalla

Thursday 2nd September
Today we have a travel day, we make our way to Glendambo for a morning stop then onto Woomera where you will have a photo opportunity at the Rocket Park then a Pizza Party Lunch at Eldos. Then onto Whyalla Sundowners for our final night.

Day 10 Transfer to Adelaide

Friday 3rd September
After a continental breakfast, we then farewell our Adelaide friends as they are transferred back to Adelaide by coach and we return to our hometowns. You leave the tour with new memories, friendships, and a love of the Red Centre. Thank you for joining us on our Red Centre Tour!
